Do you secretly wish you could have been part of the cast of The L Word? Well, dreams can come true thanks to Jennifer Beals and her camera.

The actress we know and love as Bette Porter from the groundbreaking Showtime lesbian drama has captured behind-the-scenes moments from the show and will be publishing the photos in The L Word Book, due out in December.

Fans of the show can custom-order the book to include photos of themselves, family, friends and even pets for a personalized experience with Bette, Tina (Laurel Holloman), Shane (Kate Moennig), Alice (Leisha Hailey), Dana (Erin Daniels), Jenny (Mia Kirshner) and scores of other actresses who spent time on the set.

Air America’s “Hollywood Clout!” announces they will have to regular celebritiy guests from the world of Hollywood. Air America describes this show as “Pollywood”, combining the worlds of Politics and Hollywood. “Hollywood Clout!” is hosted by Richard Greene and airs weekdays from 9 – 11 pm on the network. The permanent guests are: Peter Coyote on politics and Heather Mills on lifestyle and animal rights (Mondays); Noah Wyle on news of the day, and DL Hughley with his comedic “DL Minute” (Tuesday); Billy Baldwin on news of the day and Mia Kirshner on social and international issues (Wednesday); Fran Drescher on Women’s issues and Bai Ling on Spiritual and international issues (Thursday); and James Cromwell on politics and lifetyle (Friday). Also on Fridays, the show will feature a different music or comedy guest. July’s guest are: Jon Lovitz, Chris Botti, and Alanis Morrissette.

Hello my lovelies,

Let me begin by apologizing for the lack of updates here over the past few months. Real life has kept me incredibly busy and still is at the moment, so I’m not sure exactly when I’ll be able to get back to updating properly. I just wanted you to know that I haven’t abandoned the site and it’s not in any danger of closing or anything like that. I’ve just barely had 2 minutes to breathe lately and updating sites hasn’t been very high on my list of priorities in a while. Yes, it stinks, but such is the way of life sometimes.

Now, on to some real Mia news. She will be appearing in Season 2 of The Cleaner. I haven’t found much information on her appearance yet, so I don’t know if it will be a single episode or a multi-episode arc. I’ll update with more news as it arises though. The new season will premiere on June 23rd @ 10pm ET/PT on A&E. Click here to visit the official site.

Actrice très douée et également superbe (ce qui n’est pas pour déplaire), Mia Kirshner a connu à ce jour sa plus grande heure de gloire aux yeux du grand public dans le Dahlia Noir (elle était d’ailleurs bien la seule). C’est sans compter que Mia promène sa jolie frimousse et sa forte personnalité dans des séries TV, de 24 Heures Chrono où elle avait joué une méchante, à The L Word où elle tient l’un des rôles principaux. C’est autour de la sortie de la saison 4 de cette série, déjà disponible dans les bacs, que nous l’avons rencontrée cet été pour une interview sans langue de bois, où l’on constate qu’elle n’est pas forcément accro aux séries TV et loin d’être atteinte du carriérisme aigu dont bon nombre d’actrices à Hollywood sont victimes. Ce qui quelque part est rageant étant donné son talent.

Mia is featured in yet another new magazine! She’s currently featured on the cover of and inside the February 2009 issue of Chatelaine magazine. Doesn’t she look so lovely? I can’t wait to get a copy. Unfortunately this is a Canadian magazine and I don’t have access to it either, but I will get a copy for the site just as soon as I can.
